Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of terms
By installing and using xMap, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to all of the terms below. If you do not agree, please stop using the app.
2. Description of the service
xMap provides map information, speed limits, road signs and alerts to support safe driving in Vietnam, based on open map data (OpenStreetMap) and community contributions. The service may change, be suspended or be interrupted without prior notice.
3. Driving-safety disclaimer (important)
xMap is an AID. It does NOT replace the driver's attention. All information about speed limits, road signs and alerts is for reference only and may not be completely accurate. Drivers must always watch the road and obey actual road signs, lane markings, signals and the Road Traffic Law. Never handle your phone while driving. You are fully responsible for your own safe driving.
4. Data accuracy & community contributions
Map and sign data is compiled from many sources, including user contributions, so it may be incomplete or out of date. Content you contribute is reviewed before it is applied; xMap may edit or reject unsuitable content. By contributing, you confirm that the information is accurate and allow xMap to use and display it in order to improve the service for the community.
5. User accounts
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for all activity that takes place under your account. Please provide accurate information when you register, and tell us immediately if you discover unauthorised access.
6. Intellectual property
The xMap brand, interface, source code and content created by xMap belong to us. Base-map data is subject to the OpenStreetMap licence. You may not copy, redistribute or commercially exploit them without permission.
7. Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, xMap is not liable for any direct or indirect damage arising from the use of, or inability to use, the app, including inaccurate speed or sign information.
8. Changes to the terms & contact
We may update these terms from time to time. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the changes. If you have questions about these terms of use, please contact the xMap support team.
